Mother’s Day

Hello everyone! I know for some people this post may seem somewhat early, but here in the UK Mother’s Day is tied to Easter so for us it fell on 11th March.

Today I have two cards to share with you, that are variations on the same theme. One for my wonderful mum, and one for my lovely mother-in-law. I decided to dig out the Apron of Love bundle for the cards, I’ve not used it yet and thought it would really work well for these cards!

I’m totally drawn to the Berry Burst/Lemon Lime Twist colour combo at the moment, the colours work so well together and I just love using them! Of course, that means the Fresh Florals DSP was also a perfect match for this project. I did also use the Springtime Foils DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, and coloured it using a sponge brayer and my ink pad so it went well with the rest of the project.

I truly love how these cards turned out, and hopefully the mums loved them too!

All the items used in this project are listed below, and linked to my online store for you to purchase!
