Day 7: the longest day.... Making the most of our last all-inclusive breakfast, more pool time, Rachie collecting sand from the beach (because that's a thing now apparently!), group selfies, coffee to keep us going, glow stick party games, the tiredest people after a long long journey home... Turkey 2022 has been another fantastic trip with these crazy people I get to call "family" ... This is my "I've been awake 21 hours, my flight is delayed 2 hours and there is nowhere comfortable to sit, let alone nap" face. A somewhat far cry from last night's cocktail glamour shot... Just over an hour and half to go to our new departure time. Day 6: part 2 of our last day... Yet more cocktails at @thejokersteakhouse until well past closing, continuing the cocktails back at the hotel ( @crocker1109 and I did a very fine job of carrying trays of drinks across the resort!) and an absolute belter of a practically private rave in the chill out bar. We were absolutely more than double parked but we let it slide... Oh, and selfies. Day 6: part 1 of our last full day! A chilled day by the pool, featuring the tastiest Turkish pancakes. We came back to our room to towel sculptures and fresh flowers from our lovely maid! Then we returned to the scene of the first night carnage: @thejokersteakhouse - spot the vegans in the steakhouse! Day 4: a day by the pool! Day 3: was spent on a boat exploring the bays and islands around Göcek! There was sea swimming and snorkelling (those photos to follow when I can get them off the memory card!), stacked stones, pancakes, lots of very big yachts, beautiful scenery and ALL the desserts from the dinner buffet.
